Fruit Mix AHA is formulated from a standardized blend of extracts from five botanical sources: Bilberry, Sugar Cane, Orange, Lemon, and Sugar Maple. This combination provides a spectrum of natural alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) to the skin, including Lactic Acid from Bilberry, Glycolic Acid from Sugar Cane, Citric Acid from Orange and Lemon, as well as Malic and Tartaric Acids from Sugar Maple.
AHAs are widely recognized for their ability to treat various skin conditions, including rough texture, surface wrinkles, and fine lines. Noted for their exfoliating properties, these AHAs promote smooth, wrinkle-free skin and unveil a radiant, rejuvenated complexion.
GLYCOLIC ACID, with its small molecular structure, penetrates deeply into the skin making it a highly effective exfoliating agent. It enhances skin softness by loosening the connections between corneocytes and promoting cell renewal by reducing cohesion at the lower stratum corneum layer.Glycolic acid treatments also increase type I collagen mRNA and hyaluronic acid content of human skin.
LACTIC ACID is capable of reversing cutaneous atrophy which helps to thicken the skin to create a more youthful aesthetic.
CITRIC ACID plays a crucial role in the Krebs cycle, which occurs in the mitochondria of cells, where it helps metabolize sugars into carbon dioxide, water, and energy. This process is essential for ATP production, necessary for healthy skin as it stimulates the production of fibrous proteins and aids in the chemical exfoliation of the skin's outer layer, promoting cellular energy and overall skin vitality.

Directions: Best in evening routine after cleansing. Let absorb into skin for 5 minutes and then apply moisturizer. Normal tingling may occur. Avoid direct contact with eyes and mouth. Protect skin from sun exposure during the daytime. It is recommended to not use Vitamin C within 30 minutes of applying AHA’s. Apply 1-3 days per week. Recommended to not use with a retinoid.
