Creating a DIY organic deodorant is a great way to avoid potentially harmful chemicals and customize a product that works best for you. Here's a simple recipe to make your own organic deodorant:

Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (solid state)
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup cornstarch or arrowroot powder
- 10-15 drops of your preferred essential oil (such as lavender, tea tree, or lemon)

Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, mix together the coconut oil, baking soda, and cornstarch/arrowroot powder until it forms a smooth paste. Ensure that the coconut oil is in its solid state, as it will help the deodorant solidify later.
2. Add 10-15 drops of your chosen essential oil to the mixture. This is where you can get creative and choose a scent that appeals to you.
3. Stir well to evenly distribute the essential oil throughout the paste.
4. Transfer the mixture into an airtight container, such as a small jar or a used deodorant container.
5. Let the deodorant solidify at room temperature for a few hours, or place it in the refrigerator for quicker results.
6. Once solid, your DIY organic deodorant is ready for use!

To apply, simply scoop a small amount of the deodorant with your fingers and apply it to clean, dry underarms. The coconut oil in this recipe helps moisturize the skin, while the baking soda and cornstarch/arrowroot powder help absorb odor and keep you feeling fresh.

It's worth mentioning that everyone's body chemistry is different, and what works well for one person may not for another. If you have sensitive skin or experience any irritation, consider reducing the amount of baking soda or try a different recipe that suits your needs.

Enjoy your homemade organic deodorant, and feel free to experiment with different essential oil scents to find your favorite combination!
