DIY Mustard- Let's do this!!!

Making your own mustard at home can be a fun and delicious DIY project. Here is a simple recipe to create your own homemade mustard:

Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup mustard powder
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 paprika powder
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (optional, for color)

Instructions:

1.  Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend until you achieve your desired consistency. If you prefer a smoother mustard, blend for a longer time. For a coarse mustard, blend for a shorter period.

2. Taste the mustard and adjust the flavorings to your liking. You can add honey for sweetness, vinegar for tanginess, or salt for seasoning.

3. Transfer the prepared mustard to a jar or airtight container. Seal the container tightly and refrigerate for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld together. This resting period will also allow the mustard to thicken.

4. After refrigeration, your homemade mustard is ready to use! It will keep in the refrigerator for several weeks.

Feel free to experiment and customize your mustard by adding other ingredients such as herbs, spices, or even beer for added flavor. Enjoy your homemade mustard on sandwiches, burgers, or as a condiment for your favorite dishes.
